Exporting is a multi-step process that calls for correct product classification, complete paperwork, timely approvals and careful follow-up at customs. A missing document or an incorrect declaration can delay a shipment or add unexpected costs.
We begin with a feasibility study for the goods you plan to export. We then handle membership of the relevant exporters' association for your product type, prepare the export invoice and draw up the customs declaration. Depending on the destination, we prepare documents such as the A.TR, EUR.1 and certificate of origin, and follow up chamber of commerce, consular and exporters' association approvals.
Our work continues after the declaration is lodged. We track the declaration through customs, deliver the completed documents to the carrier, and monitor temporary exports and their time limits. Once the declaration is closed, we send you the documents you need for your VAT, bank and company files.

Frequently asked questions
When are chamber of commerce and consular approvals needed?
Documents such as the certificate of origin are issued with chamber of commerce approval, and movement certificates such as the A.TR and EUR.1 also involve chamber and customs endorsement steps. Some destination countries additionally require invoices and documents to be legalised by their consulate. We identify which approvals apply based on the goods and destination, and follow them up.
What is a temporary export and why does it need tracking?
A temporary export covers goods sent abroad for purposes such as trade fairs, repair or testing, on the basis that they return within a set period. Missing these deadlines can trigger obligations and penalties, so we monitor them closely.
What does it mean when a declaration is closed?
An export declaration is closed once the goods' actual exit from the Turkish customs territory is recorded in the customs system. The closed declaration then serves as the basis for steps such as VAT refunds and tracking export proceeds.
I'm exporting for the first time. Where should I start?
The first steps are a feasibility study for the goods you plan to export and membership of the exporters' association that covers your product group. We can plan these together and guide you step by step through to your first shipment.
